The book is composed in 17 chapters. The chapter nş 16 (pp. 333-362), The
Hermetic Reaction, presents an interpretation of the work and of the
message in the books by Anna Kingsford and Edward Maitland, within the framework
of their times. In spite of some interpretations that, according to our view,
are somewhat superficial and sometimes are mistaken, it is nevertheless an
informative and interesting reading. The book brings also two beautiful photos:
one of Kingsford (p. 334) and another of Maitland (p. 336). Read below the
